Accounting Associate

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 DOE

About the Role

A well-established, growing equipment sales and service company is hiring an Accounting Associate to support daily accounting, reporting, and special projects—while learning full-cycle accounting across multiple related entities. You’ll partner closely with the Controller and have clear pathways to expand your scope over time.

What You’ll Do

• Post journal entries; perform account reconciliations and internal reporting
• Process AP (vendor invoices, POs, expense reports) and AR (payments, deposits, cash receipts)
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; assist with month-end and year-end close
• Maintain organized digital and physical records; prepare internal financial/operational reports
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Work in QuickBooks and a dealer management platform (training provided)
• Support accounting across multiple entities (operations, graphics division, real estate holdings)
• Handle financial data with confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity

What You’ll Bring

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping preferred; will consider strong early-career talent
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial recordkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
• High attention to detail, organization, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Desire to learn and take on increasing responsibility in a tight-knit team
