Job Description

1. Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and protocols .
2. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments in plant/factory premises.
3. Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements, Factory Act, OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant regulations .
4. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents , preparing reports and recommending corrective measures.
5. Conduct safety training programs and workshops for employees, contractors, and visitors.
6. Monitor and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) .
7. Lead emergency preparedness and response planning , including mock drills.
8. Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation .
9. Support management in employee welfare and occupational health initiatives .
10. Promote a safety-first culture across the organization through awareness campaigns.
11. Collaborate with engineering, production, and HR teams to integrate safety into operations.
12. Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives in safety and health management.
