Job Description

Job Title: M&A Data Analyst

Contract Role - 5 months

Job Description

As part of this team, you will work through large data files, load opportunities, and manage contracts. This role involves integrating data, requiring a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to investigate any discrepancies. You will coordinate and support integration activities, collaborating with other M&A and functional team members to ensure deadlines are met. Proficiency in MS Excel will be crucial during quoting and analysis processes.

Responsibilities

  • Work through large data files to load opportunities, quote, and book contracts.

  • Scrub and validate data integrated from CSI, investigating discrepancies as needed.

  • Coordinate and support integration activities with M&A and functional team members.

  • Utilize MS Excel for quoting and analysis processes.

Essential Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, x-lookups, filtering, and basic formulas.

  • Analytical skills to handle non-standard processes during acquisitions.

  • Outstanding organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and high attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective team communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Background in data analytics, finance, or economics.

  • Comfortable with numbers and data formulation.

Work Environment

This role requires working five days in the office, with the option to work from home one day a week, typically Fridays. The position is initially a 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension to longer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
