Job Description

Salary: $96,000 - 136,000 per year Requirements:

• Proven experience in design, development, and testing of software
• Proficient in understanding C programming for microcontrollers in both Non-RTOS and RTOS environments, particularly for safety-critical handheld medical devices
• Familiarity with GUI design in C++ for microcontroller-based RTOS environments for safety-critical handheld medical devices
• Ability to conduct requirement analysis and identify deficiencies
• Skilled in creating test scenarios based on input documents such as requirements and design documents for highly safety-critical handheld medical devices
• Knowledgeable in identifying the necessary test hardware for system testing
• Capable of developing and executing software integration test plans and protocols aligned with design input documentation and code for embedded handheld medical devices, following defined medical device software development processes
• Experience in performing software code regression analysis (C & C++) and understanding custom hardware design for integration testing
• Actively contributing and providing feedback during requirements, design, and code review meetings

• Design and execute software integration tests for a safety-critical handheld medical device
• Analyze requirements and recognize any gaps in the documentation
• Generate and oversee test scenarios derived from requirements and design documents
• Identify and source relevant test hardware for comprehensive system testing
• Create detailed software integration test plans and protocols, ensuring alignment with design inputs and execution according to medical device software development standards
• Conduct software code regression analysis and collaborate in integration testing efforts
• Engage in requirement, design, and code review meetings, offering constructive feedback
