Private Westport, CT family is seeking a Live-Out (local to CT)  energetic  Nanny/Family Assistant with current infant-to-toddler experience.
The family will be in town next week and after a successful virtual interview, wants to meet potential candidates in person on April 29 or April 30, 2026.

Hire Date: Mid-June 2026  The family will move into their home in Westport, CT,   target move-in date: Mid-June, 2026, however they are willing to offer a sign-on bonus if they find the right fit sooner. 
Position : Full-Time Live-Out Nanny/Family Assistant 
Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 8 am–6 pm, guaranteed 50 hours, MUST be flexible with occasional evenings or weekends
Salary:  $40 per hour, Payroll, OT after 40 hours, Health Insurance stipend if needed
Relocation:  No – local candidates only, must reside within a reasonable commute to residence in Westport, CT.

About the Family
Warm and welcoming busy professionals moving to Westport, CT, (currently in Miami), are looking to hire a dedicated, proactive, professional to join their household. The family will move into their home in Westport, CT, (target move-in date: Mid-June, 2026), however after a successful virtual interview, they are willing to meet a potential candidate on April 29 or April 30, while they are in CT for a short stay.
They are also willing to trial candidates beginning in May 2026 in FL.
The family values discretion, reliability, and someone who will be a long-term fit and have the flexibility to travel with them, if they travel for 3 weeks or a month at a time, with additional pay.

• Children: (G) almost 8 months old, will be 1 year-old end of August

Responsibilities

• ACTIVELY Engage with baby
• Accompany to appointments, restaurants, running errands
• Assist with sleep training, especially day napping
• Keep nursery and common areas clean and tidy
• Baby Laundry only
• Baby cooking only
• Keep nursery/common spaces clean and tidy
• When parents are with the baby, help out as needed with errands: dry cleaning, picking up, grocery shopping, post office, opening and disposing of boxes, returning items

Proactive, trustworthy, and confident in their skills. A flexible mindset with strong communication skills and a calm demeanor. Someone looking for a long-term placement and becoming a valued part of the family.

• Extremely clean and hygienic: Washing hands as soon as entering home, comfortable not wearing shoes (or indoor shoes only) in the home

• Must not wear any fragrances, scented lotions, or jewelry
• Flexibility to travel for 3 weeks or a month at a time, with additional pay
  

Position Requirements

• Work Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Must be flexible. Flexibility to travel for short or longer term periods to Miami or a future Mountain home for 3 weeks or a month at a time, with additional pay.
• Experience:  MUST have infant and toddler experience, including recognizing milestones and actively engaging with the baby
• Good swimmer

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Driver’s license  and clean driving record, MUST have a car for reliable transportation to/from the residence. Car provided for use

• Willing to travel occasionally, if needed.  Additional compensation
• References:  Minimum of 2 excellent References
• Background:  Background checks upon a contingent offer of hire
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
