Job Description and Duties

Under general direction of Supervisor II, Operations Manager, the Office of Continuing Education and Medical Advancement (CEMA) Supervisor I serves as the direct supervisor of the CEMA team and acts as the Academic Development Coordinator, working closely with the Director of Graduate Medical Education on residency, fellowship, and other statewide academic opportunities and functions.

Working Conditions

• This position reports to the Allenby Building in Sacramento. A hybrid Telework schedule, consistent with the State of California's in-office requirement, may be considered with prior approval from management. The incumbent may also be required to travel throughout California as needed, with prior notice.

Statement of Qualifications

A Statement of Qualifications (SQQ) is required and must be submitted along with your State application. The SOQ consists of questions that must specifically be addressed and submitted with an application. Resumes and cover letters DO NOT take the place of the SOQ. Applicants that do not submit the required SQQ will be disqualified.

Requirements for Statement of Qualifications:

• Clearly label the SOQ with your first and last name
• Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below
• Paper Size to be 8 ½" x 11"
• Left, Right, Top, and Bottom Margins to be 1"
• Font type to be Arial, Font size to be 12
• Single-spaced, typed
• Do not exceed two page in length

1. Briefly describe your supervisory and/or lead role experience, including skills gained to prepare you for this position.
2. Describe your contracts experience. Include one example of a complex contract you lead to completion and your role in its success.
3. Describe your experience working as part of an inter-disciplinary team. Include one example and what your contributed to that team to reach a common goal.
