Job Title: Political Operations Coordinator

Assignment Type: Contract through November 2026

Pay: $17.95/hr

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM | Hybrid (In-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday; Remote Wednesday & Friday) | Overtime required during peak election cycle periods

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a nationally recognized media organization specializing in political advertising operations, to hire multiple Political Operations Coordinators in preparation for the 2026 election cycle. This organization works at the intersection of media strategy and campaign execution, supporting advertising placement across television and streaming platforms. The team operates in a strictly nonpartisan manner and provides operational support for political campaigns and issue-based advertising at the federal, state, and local levels.

 

Job Description:

The Political Operations Coordinator provides operational support to a designated sales team, ensuring political advertising campaigns are accurately entered, tracked, and executed. This role is highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Coordinators collaborate closely with team leadership and external media partners to maintain campaign accuracy and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and revise advertising orders for political campaigns with a high level of accuracy
  • Monitor active campaigns to ensure budgets, schedules, and targeting requirements remain on track
  • Coordinate with media partners nationwide to confirm proper execution and fulfillment
  • Track campaign data, reconcile rates, and maintain organized internal documentation
  • Support Account Executives and Team Leads with order management and reporting
  • Communicate professionally with agency partners and internal stakeholders
  • Adapt to proprietary systems and evolving workflows

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong technical aptitude; ability to learn new systems quickly
  • High attention to detail, especially with numerical data entry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, politically focused (nonpartisan) environment
  • Ability to work overtime during peak periods
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Backgrounds in political campaigns, advocacy, media, communications, data/analytics, technical fields, retail, or hospitality are encouraged to apply

 

Additional Details:

  • Initial pay rate of $17.95/hour
  • 40 hours per week
  • Eligible for overtime, especially during peak election season
