Fire Sprinkler Sales, Estimating & Project Delivery Manager

Location: Naperville, IL

A day in the role

You start your morning reviewing a live pipeline spanning Chicago and Northern Indiana. A contractor needs pricing for a tenant build-out—so you dive into drawings, complete a detailed takeoff, and assemble a competitive estimate. By midday, you’re on-site with an owner, shaping scope and strengthening a relationship you’ve cultivated over multiple projects. In the afternoon, a bid you followed up on gets awarded, and you immediately shift into delivery mode—coordinating submittals, sequencing work, aligning schedules, and tracking costs through closeout. Throughout, you’re building trust, generating revenue, and owning results end-to-end.

Scope you’ll own

  • Lead estimating, selling, and managing fire sprinkler projects across service, tenant improvements, and commercial work.
  • Grow market share throughout the Fire Protection space across Chicago and Northern Indiana.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, owners, and existing clients.
  • Run projects from initial bid through completion—schedule, cost, quality, documentation, and client communications.
  • Proactively follow up on proposals to convert opportunities and maintain a consistent backlog.
  • Spot and pursue crossover opportunities with internal mechanical, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and industrial teams.
  • Expand existing accounts while actively prospecting for new business.

How success is measured

  • Annual sales revenue generation in the $1M–$3M+ range.
  • Consistent capture and management of profitable projects.
  • Deep client relationships that result in repeat awards and referrals.
  • Ownership of both the sales cycle and project execution.

What you bring
